At Pilgrimages, every journey is created with devotion, detail, and dedication. We understand that life is unpredictable and sometimes plans must change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to honor your commitment while balancing the advance arrangements we make with our partners, temples, and service providers.
1. Cancellation by You (The Traveller)
If you need to cancel your pilgrimage:
• Cancellations must be shared in writing by the person who made the booking.
• The date we receive your written notice will be considered the cancellation date.
• Refunds will be processed as follows:

| 30+ days | 30+ days 50% refund (minus non-refundable deposits/fees) |
| 10–29 days | 10–29 days 25% refund (minus non-refundable deposits/fees) |
| Less than 10 day | No refund |
*Non-refundable deposits include payments already made to flights, trains, cruises, special hotels, permits, temple donations, service charges, or other third-party arrangements.
• No refunds will apply for: unused services, missed days, late arrivals, or early departures.
2. Cancellation by Pilgrimages
In the rare event that Pilgrimages must cancel or alter a journey due to unforeseen circumstances (including Force Majeure or severe weather conditions), you may choose one of the following:
• Full refund of payments made (excluding third-party non-refundable deposits).
• Credit toward a future pilgrimage.
• An alternative itinerary designed with equal care and significance.
3. Processing of Refunds
• Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 30 days of receiving your written request.
• Refunds related to airline tickets, trains, or hotels will follow the respective provider’s policies, as Pilgrimages acts only as a facilitator in these cases.
4. Special Circumstances
If government restrictions, pandemics, or travel advisories affect your journey, Pilgrimages may offer:
• Rescheduling of the journey.
• Travel credits.
• Partial or full refunds, depending on partner policies.
5. Our Guidance
We deeply encourage our travelers to purchase comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance. This ensures peace of mind and safeguards your sacred journey against the unforeseen.
